In 2019, Georgian College developed an asynchronous academic integrity module for first semester students to complete in order to increase student understanding of what constitutes academic dishonesty.  This research examined whether an asynchronous eLearning module can change students' perceptions of academic dishonesty in a preventive manner, before they receive an infraction.

In this presentation, the team will share their methodology, preliminary data and insights into the findings.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Discuss the importance of growing academic integrity issues within post-secondary education
  • Gain valuable insight into student perceptions about academic dishonesty
  • Examine future considerations and research related to academic integrity
